Paseo de Gracia C apartment; spacious & central

Spacious, fully equipped, high-quality apartment in prime location in the inner city center directly on Paseo de Gracia only 200 meters from Plaza de Catalunya with Metro station right in front of the building. The location could not be any more convenient. Almost all important sights can be reached within a short walk and we have some of the best tapas restaurants literally around the corner. Ciudad Condal, El Nacional and El Lateral are my favorites and are all with 1-2 blocks from the rental.

This spacious apartment offers 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom comes with a double bed and a huge wardrobe. The second bedroom offers 2 single beds (which easily can be pushed together as a double bed), a big cupboard and a spacious en suite bathroom with bathtub/ shower. The third bedroom is a single room and comes with a desk, a single bed and a big cupboard. Right next to this bedroom is the second bathroom situated which is accessible from the long hallway. The living room of this apartment is large, faces Passeig de Gracia and even has a balcony from where the visitor can overview the avenue down to Placa de Catalunya; the main square. Furtheron the living room is equipped with two comfortable sofas which point at a big Plasma TV as well as 2 armchairs. One of the sofas converts in one easy movement into a comfortable double bed. Also in the living room, there is a desk with chair which comes in handy in case some work needs to be done. A red leather designer chair in the corner is there for kicking back and reading. There is also a big dining table for 6 people (and an extra chair for the 7th person).

Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. All appliances are top brands. At the guests, disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc.

The apartment is located on the third floor with an elevator. The buildings community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance. We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here.

As owners and property managers we have many years of experience hosting guests from all over the world. We have several apartments in this building. We will welcome you in person on your arrival day and provide useful information regarding how things work in the apartment and about the surrounding area. You will know where to find the nearest supermarket, good restaurants, the tourist information, a pharmacy (hopefully not needed), an ATM, etc. You will have my private cell phone number in case you need to reach me during your stay. We have a concierge in the building (from Monday to Friday) who can be addressed in case of questions.

The location of our apartment is the edge between the Eixample district and the historic Old Town of Barcelona which makes it a very convenient spot from where to start the daily excursions. Our street is this gorgeous and the city's wealthiest avenue. Here on Passeig de Gracia is where all the famous designer brands have their stores. Placa de Catalunia (the main square), the gothic quarter and Las Ramblas are only a stone throw away from the apartment. Two of the of the city’s main sights, the famous Gaudi buildings Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are located on our street. The first mentioned is 2 blocks away and the second is 4 blocks up the street. Around the corner from our apartment is Rambla de Catalunya where you find some of the best tapas restaurants in the city such as my favorite Ciudad Condal. We have a small grocery store at 100 meters from the apartment and a large one down on Plaza de Catalunia in the El Corte Ingles shopping center, which is 2 blocks away. Almost all spots of interest in Barcelona are within a short walking distance. But, if you prefer to use public transportation, we have a Metro station right outside our building with access to 3 different lines. This location is truly unbeatable.

Staying in this location you can walk to almost all the main sights in Barcelona. A car is certainly not needed. Here are places you might want to visit and their distance from our apartment:

Gaudi’s Casa Batllo (2 blocks), Gaudi’s La Pedrera also called Casa Mila (4 blocks), Plaza de Catalunia (2 blocks), Las Ramblas (3 blocks), the beginning of the Gothic Quarter (3 blocks). Within the Gothic quarter, there is the Cathedral, the Palau de la Musica, Liceu opera, the Boqueria Market, the harbor, the Picasso museum, the church Santa Maria del Mar and the old Borne market. All these places can be reached walking. The one which is the furthest from the apartment would be the harbor. It takes about 15 minutes to get there walking down Las Ramblas to the very end. Sagrada Familia is 14 blocks away and you could walk there in 20-25 minutes or take the metro from the station right outside our building (line L2, 3 stops, 10 minutes). A taxi stand is right at the street corner and taxis are available 24 hours.

Some of the city’s best tapas restaurants are very close to our apartment. Ciudad Condal (1 block), Vinitus (3 blocks), Cerveseria Catalana (4 blocks), El Nacional (across the street), El Lateral (2 blocks). We provide a list with restaurants we recommend with plenty of choices regarding places for seafood, paella, meat, vegan and vegetarian restaurants.

Please note that check-ins after 09:00pm have an extra charge of 30,- Euros to be paid cash upon arrival. The latest check-in can be at 11:00pm.
