The Paseo de Gracia D apartment is a lovely completely renovated 1 bedroom apartment in a beautifully maintained building located on Barcelona’s wealthiest avenue Passeig de Gracia, just a view meters from the main square Placa de Catalunia, the center core of Barcelona. The gothic quarter and Las Ramblas are only a stone throw from the apartment.

From the moment that you walk into the beautiful marble entrance of this in 1890 constructed building, you will be completely captivated.

This fantastic apartment has light parquet flooring throughout; the quality of the furnishings and tasteful decoration give the apartment a wonderfully modern and elegant look... it has been refurbished to a high of standards and this is very apparent as you walk in the front door.

The living room comes with a comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs. This is the perfect spot to sit back in and relax; TV, DVD, all the appliances are top notch making this a luxurious apartment. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double bed for the 3rd and 4th guest in one easy movement. The spacious private terrace with table and chairs for 4 people plus 2 sun chairs are reachable from the living room. Orientation is south, perfect for sun-hungry travelers. Even during sunny winter days, this terrace is a plus as pretty much covered from the wind.

There is also a dining table inside the apartment which appears to be a desk to work on but can be easily converted and offers space for 4 guests to enjoy a meal.

The main bedroom comes with a double bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom tastefully done in marble with bath/shower and fresh towels, soap and shampoo ready for use on arrival.

Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. All appliances are top brands. At the guest's disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc.

The apartment is located on the 6th floor of this elegant building and gets reached by using the glass elevator. The building's community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance. We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here.

The location of our apartment is the edge between the Eixample district and the historic Old Town of Barcelona which makes it a very convenient spot from where to start the daily excursions. Our street is this gorgeous and the city's wealthiest avenue. Here on Passeig de Gracia is where all the famous designer brands have their stores. Placa de Catalunia (the main square), the gothic quarter, and Las Ramblas are only 2 blocks away from the apartment. Two of the city’s main sights, the famous Gaudi buildings Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are located on our street. The first mentioned is 2 blocks away and the second is 4 blocks up the street. Around the corner from our apartment is Rambla de Catalunya where you find some of the best tapas restaurants in the city such as my favorite Ciudad Condal. We have a small grocery store at 100 meters from the apartment and a large one down on Plaza de Catalunia in the El Corte Ingles shopping center, which is 2 blocks away. Almost all spots of interest in Barcelona are within a short walking distance. But, if you prefer to use public transportation, we have a Metro station right outside our building with access to 3 different lines. This location is truly unbeatable.

Staying in this location you can walk to almost all the main sights in Barcelona. A car is certainly not needed. Here are places you might want to visit and their distance from our apartment:

Gaudi’s Casa Batllo (2 blocks), Gaudi’s La Pedrera also called Casa Mila (4 blocks), Plaza de Catalunia (2 blocks), Las Ramblas (3 blocks), the beginning of the Gothic Quarter (3 blocks). Within the Gothic quarter, there is the Cathedral, the Palau de la Musica, Liceu opera, the Boqueria Market, the harbor, the Picasso museum, the church Santa Maria del Mar, and the old Borne market. All these places can be reached by walking. The one which is the furthest from the apartment would be the harbor. It takes about 15 minutes to get there walking down Las Ramblas to the very end. Sagrada Familia is 14 blocks away and you could walk there in 20-25 minutes or take the metro from the station right outside our building (line L2, 3 stops, 10 minutes). A taxi stand is right at the street corner and taxis are available 24 hours.

Some of the city’s best tapas restaurants are very close to our apartment. Ciudad Condal (1 block), Vinitus (3 blocks), Cerveseria Catalana (4 blocks), El Nacional (across the street), El Lateral (2 blocks). We provide a list of restaurants we recommend with plenty of choices regarding places for seafood, paella, meat, vegan and vegetarian restaurants.
